About the Reframe This Podcast and The Importance of Reframi

Why Reframing Your Thoughts Changes Everything

The Heart Behind the Reframe This Podcast

At its core, Reframe This was born from a simple but transformative belief:

The way we frame life influences the way we live it.

Matt and Corinna Rosenkilde, hosts of the Reframe This podcast, created this space to help people slow down, think differently, and see the world through a more compassionate lens. Every episode begins with one central question:

What if the story you’re telling yourself isn’t the full story?

Why Reframing Thoughts Is a Powerful Tool

Reframing isn’t about pretending life is perfect—it’s about learning to see reality through a healthier, more hopeful lens.

In Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), there’s a simple principle:

What we think influences how we feel, and how we feel influences how we behave.

Why Reframe This
The Power of Perspective — and Why It Changes Everything

At its core, Reframe This was born from a simple but transformative belief:

The way we frame life influences the way we live it.

Hosts Matt and Corinna Rosenkilde created Reframe This to help people slow down, think differently, and see the world through a more compassionate lens. Each episode begins with one question:

What if the story you’re telling yourself isn’t the full story?

Reframing isn’t about pretending life is perfect—it’s about learning to see reality through a healthier, more hopeful lens. In Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), one principle changes everything:

What we think influences how we feel, and how we feel influences how we behave.

When we change our thoughts, emotions shift—and our actions follow. Reframing transforms fear into clarity and reaction into reflection.

Relationships thrive when we interpret others through empathy instead of assumption. That small shift—from “They never listen” to “They’re distracted right now”—can turn conflict into connection. It’s the same in communication: replacing “You never understand me” with “I’m struggling to feel heard” moves a conversation from defense to vulnerability, and vulnerability builds safety.

Conflict isn’t failure—it’s feedback. When we reframe conflict from me vs. you to us vs. the problem, we move from opposition to teamwork. Instead of “They don’t care,” try “We’re both hurting and need understanding.” Reframing transforms tension into teamwork and disagreement into discovery.

At Reframe This, we also believe words can heal. Changing “mental health” to “brain health” removes stigma—it reminds us the brain is an organ that needs care, not criticism. Likewise, saying “died by suicide” instead of “committed suicide” replaces judgment with compassion. Language shapes culture, and reframing our words can save lives.

We all crave belonging, yet our thoughts often tell us we don’t deserve it. “I’m too much” becomes “My emotions make me human.” “I’m hard to love” becomes “I’m learning how to receive love.” Reframing restores dignity, replaces shame with acceptance, and opens the door to authentic connection.

Every time you reframe a thought, your brain rewires itself through neuroplasticity. New pathways form, stress decreases, and calm strengthens. Reframing isn’t wishful thinking—it’s biological healing in action.

How to practice reframing:

  1. Notice your thoughts. What story are you telling yourself?

  2. Name the emotion. What does that story make you feel?

  3. Challenge it. Is this the only explanation?

  4. Reframe it. Choose curiosity over criticism.

  5. Respond differently. Let the new thought guide a healthier action.

🎧 Reframe This with Matt & Corinna Rosenkilde explores how the way we think shapes the way we live. Each episode unpacks real-life topics such as:

  • Reframing suicide and reducing stigma

  • Shifting from mental to brain health

  • Navigating communication and conflict

  • The impact of AI on emotional wellbeing

  • Finding belonging and meaning in messy moments

Listeners tune in because Reframe This isn’t just another podcast—it’s a perspective shift. Each episode invites you to see life through a clearer, kinder lens. When you follow, you stay connected to weekly conversations that strengthen emotional health. When you share, you help others find hope, language, and understanding in hard places.

💛 Your support helps amplify awareness, reduce stigma, and build connection.
Listen, share, and start reframing life—because how we see the world shapes how we live in it.

“When we change the frame, we change what we see.
And when we change what we see, we change how we live.”
